Shaker Handcrafted Shaker Tables, Farmhouse Dining Tables, Cottage Dining Tables, Custom Tables

Our tables are made just like tables were made in the 18th Century. We believe in the best quality, so we use joinery that has been used for hundreds of years, mortise and tenon joinery, for leg to apron joining, and dovetailed drawers for Farmhouse or Table Desk drawers. The legs are turned by hand on a lathe and premium heavy stock lumber is used. Joinery for tops include Plank Tops, often called Tongue and Grooved tops which have seams between the boards, and joined table tops that are glued together on abutting edges. Table tops can be hand planed or sanded smooth. We make a lot of custom tables, all we need is a photo or Mike can design you a table from your ideas on style and function.

We use Top Grade kiln dried wood for all of our products. The White Pine we handcraft shaker tables and reproduction tables from is graded, Pin Knots to Clear for quality and costs as much as Cherry. If you want large knots in White Pine then please call.

Shaker Farm House Dining Table “Warren Table”

With heavy 2-3/4” square legs and a slight taper on interior of legs, this table is modeled from Shaker’s clean, simple lines. The “Warren Table” is made with a 15/16” thick top, sanded smooth with no seams. Impressive table in all the woods we offer, can be stained or left natural with an Oiled Finish or Stained and clear coated in Matte or Satin sheen.

Tennessee Farmhouse Table “Cedar Hill Table”

With heavy 2-3/4” square legs, square pegged joinery, antique square nails to attach the top, this table looks like an antique. The “Cedar Hill Table” is made with a 15/16” thick top, plank top with seams and bread board ends. A gorgeous table in all the woods we offer, can be stained or left natural with an Oiled Finish or Stained and clear coated in Matte or Satin sheen. 4 Board top, ask about 3 board top. With heavy 2-1/2” square legs, with an elegant, tapered turned leg. Table has the classic Enfield Leg, tables over 84” have a 2-1/2” square and smaller tables 1-3/4” square leg.
