Mike designed the Shaker Windsor Chair in 2024, it is modeled after a Shaker Windsor chair made in Canterbury, NH in 1840. Shaker Windsor Chair Pictures A fine example of simplicity and grace, with hand turned, spindles, legs. and stretchers. The steam bent crest rails has a slight curve, making this chair extremely comfortable. The short spindle back couple with the crest rail doesn’t dig into your shoulder blades and fits your back perfectly. The seat is slightly scooped and fits your bottom nicely.
The Shaker Ladder back chair is made just like the original antique chairs, with a slight cant, or angled backwards. Tapered pots and stretchers are refined and look nice in Cherry or Maple. The slats are steam bent. Jack designed this chair in 1998.
Arts and Crafts chair was added a year ago and is a fine example of a Mission Chair, made in Cherry, Oak, Walnut.
