An Elegant and refined Shaker Pencil post bed made from either Cherry, Curly Maple, Walnut or Painted Poplar. We produce a high quality bed with posts which are made from a solid 12/4” plank, joined to 2-3/4” square post.
Solid 12/4” rough stock used o make the posts at 2-3/4” square x 80” Tall.
Solid 1-3/4” thick rails made in the same wood as the posts, example: Walnut Posts means Walnut Rails and Headboard. Curly Maple Posts have Curly Maple headboard and Maple Rails.
Headboard is made to fit into a mortise in the posts, solid wood headboard at 20” tall, matched for color and grain.
bed bolt construction, bed is marked to come apart easily, call for help with setting bed up.
platform or boxspring setup
finely tapered posts with lambs tongue transition for eight sided posts.
finials come with the bed NO additional cost.
